Are you passionate about hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences from the very first interaction? DUKES The Palm, Dubai Hotel, is looking for an experienced and proactive IT Supervisor to join our growing team!

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain hotel systems in good condition
• Improve information systems in the hotel
• In the absence of the IT Manager, run confidential - special reports as requested by Management
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance and implementation of software upgrades and updates
• Implementation of software and hardware audit of computers and software used in the hotel
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software installed in the hotel (deployed and in store)
• Maintain a log of all major system activities (update, upgrade, failure, change)
• Proper filing and safekeeping of IT documents
• Attend IT IT-related guest requests and complain
• Manage and maintain a working backup of systems
• Manage, maintain, and protect backup of company data
• Implement and ensure the safety of IT equipment

Experience:

• Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property is required

Requirement:

• Proven work experience as an IT Supervisor
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Degree in computer science, IT, or similar.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
