Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Bartender to support a Special Project at Erth Abu Dhabi.To provide quality beverage preparation and service that is consistent with theERTH SOP at all times.

Job Responsibilities

Maintain the bar area in a clean, tidy and organized condition at all times inaccordance with the Health and Hygiene requirements.
Take all reasonable measures not to handle food or food contact surfaces inany way that is likely to compromise the safety and suitability of the food.
Fully responsible for the bar, whilst on duty.
Ensure that the guest is presented with the correct order and that all drinks areprepared and served as per SOP.
Ensure a courteous and efficient service is delivered at all times regardless ofbusiness levels
Ensure that adequate stocks of beverages are requisitioned and maintained foroperational needs.
Responsible for controlling and storing of all glassware.
Ensure the checking of expiration dates and that all perishable items are storedand recorded in designated storage areas.
Takes the orders using up selling skills, prepares and serves drinks tocustomers in a friendly and helpful manner.
Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements forpurchase of alcohol and tobacco products.
Actively uses up-selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increaserevenue.
Collects payment and settle the bills as per SOP.
Records daily spillages/spoilages with appropriate justifications.
Maintain good relationships with colleagues and contributes to team spirit.
Cooperate and interacts with other departments to provide additional orspecialized guest services. Provide service colleagues with information that assists in exceeding guest expectations, predominately special needs and name of guests.
Contributes to a team-oriented and associate-orientedcompany culture.
Ensure timely reporting of malfunction or maintenance deficiencies to linemanager.
Attend briefings, as required; Maintain good relationships with colleagues andcontribute to team spirit; Cooperate and interact with other departments to provide additional/outstanding guest services.
Complies with company grooming & hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanand orderly work surroundings.
Actively seeks to improve beverages variety, selection and quality.
Trains other colleagues on bartending skills.
Comply with Time and Attendance policies.
Attend all scheduled training activities.
Demonstrates understanding and awareness of all policies and proceduresrelating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Safety.
Acts on emergency and evacuation procedures.
Immediately report securityincidents, accidents and near misses to the Line Manager.

Qualifications

High School or equivalent. GED or Vocational education. Hospitality Education.
Food safety and food hygiene specified by the standards/legislation.
Minimum one-year experience in the same or similar role UAE or GCC Experience.
5-star hotel operation or high-volume stand-alone outlets.
English - clear communication skills, written and verbal. Additional Language is a plus.
Bartending, inventory and stock take,basic mixology.
Familiarity with hotel or stand-alone.
WSET Level 1 or higher.
